Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Candle Lighting Ceremony 11/18/2010
For those who have lost a loved one, the holiday season can be a difficult time. Sharing our grief with others can often be helpful in our healing process. Because the staff of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Sunset Memorial Gardens truly cares about people and the struggles they face in dealing with their grief, we are holding A Candle Lighting Ceremony.
The service will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 7405 Mullan Road on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. We wish to take this opportunity to cordially invite you and your family to join us and others who have lost loved ones for a time of remembrance. The light of a distant star continues to reach the earth long after the star itself is gone. In the same way, the light and love your loved one gave will continue to shine in many hearts. We would be honored by your attendance.
Funeral Home Receives Award
Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory is a proud recipient of the National Funeral Director’s Association Pursuit of Excellence Award.
The Pursuit of Excellence is NFDA's premier program for honoring excellence and unshakable ethical standards in funeral service. Recipient firms are provided high-profile, national recognition for their outstanding service, professional integrity and dynamic public relations programs. The funeral homes were awarded at the annual National Funeral Director’s Association Pursuit of Excellence Awards during the NFDA Convention and Expo.
“The Pursuit of Excellence program is the premier standard for funeral service excellence. Funeral homes that achieve this special recognition are raising the bar when it comes to community involvement and providing families with quality care,” said NFDA Chief Executive Officer, Christine Pepper.
To achieve recognition in the Pursuit of Excellence Program, a funeral home must meet at least 31 criteria in nine categories of achievement. The categories include: education, compassionate service, technical skills, community and professional service, library or media resources, professional development, in-house staff training, and public and community relations.
Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory was the only firm in the state of Montana to receive this distinguished award in 2006. |
