Cremation and Burial Society of the Rockies is located conveniently off of Reserve Street in Missoula. This facility is the most recently built of the funeral facilities in Missoula and caters to both traditional and cremation disposition options. The facility is equipped to handle visitations, viewings and chapel services seating approximately seventy individuals.

Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory is located on the corner of West Broadway and Mullan Road. The funeral home is beautifully decorated and offers a peaceful setting for your services. We are close to several hotels and the airport for family and friends from out of town.

Garden City Funeral Home and CrematoryThe facility offers a beautiful chapel with a seating capacity of two hundred, a community room for hosting receptions after services, which includes a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. We will set up tables, tablecloths, chairs and coffee for your gathering and may also arrange for a caterer.

For your family's musical needs, we offer a piano and can provide a pianist and/or soloist for your service. We can also play recorded music on compact disc or cassette.

The Garden City Funeral Home also offers an on-Site crematory for those families choosing cremation as a final disposition.

Livingston-Malletta & Geraghty Funeral Home, located in historic downtown Missoula, is the oldest funeral home in Missoula, established in the mid 1930's. The facility is a full service funeral home catering to both the traditional and cremation disposition options. The chapel comfortably seats ninety, for a variety of services and/or other functions.

For a family's musical needs, we offer an organ and can provide an accompanist and/or soloist for your service needs. We are also able to provide pre-recorded music as a service option.

Livingston-Malletta & Geraghty also has a generous amount of on-site parking for families.

Sunset Funeral Home is located on Mullan Rd of Missoula in the park-like setting of Sunset Cemetery and Mausoleum. This funeral home is elegantly decorated and offers a genuinely unique setting for visitation, viewing, services, and receptions.

Sunset Cemetery and Mausoleum, located on Mullan Road was established in 1953, with the first burial taking place December 29, 1953. Sunset Cemetery and Mausoleum consists of four parcels of land with approximately forty acres. The cemetery has five major gardens with smaller sections maintained for special interest groups. The five gardens are:

Sunset Cemetery and Mausoleum
  • Christus: Original garden of Sunset Cemetery which also includes columbarium niches.
  • Last Supper: Contains a veterans and Masonic section as well as columbarium niches.
  • Open Bible: This garden is a cremation section and a double depth section
  • Chapelside: This garden includes ground and mausoleum space.
  • Babyland: Infant burial space

The mausoleum was constructed in the 1990's and has the following available for future interment:
